On the front drive shaft it has to have 2 U joints. That play on the propshaft your talking about is normal . If the u rear u joint has play that might be the cause for the clunking. Or i could also be the cluthes causing the clunking.On my 2017 it had a noise from front diff above 20mph, did it from day one. If you pull the belt cover off and pull the belt, you can grab the secondary by hand. Rotate it hard one way, then the other, you will hear the clunking noise.
