I am in the process of getting a badly maintained 2005 Prairie 360 4x4 back to life. The wires that go to the carb is a carb heater. The heater screws in and has one connection on it. When I checked the exhaust valve I found is was at .08mm. I adjusted it to..18 and now runs like a dream. If you are getting backpressure your exhaust valve is most likely the cause. I set the valves at .007 intake & .009 exhaust. 1) Idles with the choke on. 2) Idles with the a/f screw turned all the way out. 3) Idles briefly with carb cleaner.
