I used green tree to mix shooting with melee and feel tough/tanky, and kinda roleplay that until I had enough points to start mixing red tree or even blue.Amara has very very little +gun damage in her skills compared to the other vault hunters. That's why you're going to make up for it with +250% phasecast or +300% phaseslam on your guns. This is key. That anointment + the big passives on your class mod should seriously increase your damage.Amara has basically 2 build avenues: elemental and melee.
